It’s 10 degrees outside today. I repeat, ten degrees!!! Ok, ok… New Yorkers really shouldn’t be complaining, especially with the unusually mild winter we’ve been having lately. Still, today’s frigid temp is making me look forward to spring with its seasonally upbeat colors and light layers.
Since I can’t do anything about the weather, I thought I would slowly melt the bitterness by sharing a sneak peek at Lane Bryant’s Spring 2016 collection. Listen up ladies, this collection contains some seriously note-worthy style.
Shoppers can expect to see the power of print and color with fun pops of yellow and blue. Some of my favorite stand-outs are the pleated yellow skirt, and printed circle skirt, as well as the faux suede moto and linen draped jacket. It wouldn’t be Spring without a little swimwear, which is why I’m loving the crochet bandeau bikini and the boho fringe kimono. The wide-leg linen palm pants would be perfect to pack for spring getaway. Finally, I should mention to keep an eye out for the Otis Collection, which is a collaboration with the Otis College of Art and Design. (Their students designed a series of fashion-forward pieces that LB is bringing to life), so plan your wardrobe (and wallets) accordingly!
