Getting into the Spooky Spirit with T.J. Maxx

We’re pretty big Halloween fans here at the Moyett household. We’re firm believers in pulling out all the stops when it comes to the creepiest holiday of all.

Bags of candy. Check.
Pumpkins. Check.
Scary movies queued on Netflix. Check.

I know what you’re thinking…It’s not even OCTOBER yet! But fear not my pretties, Halloween will be here before you know it, so to help us get a head start on our Halloween festivities we headed to T.J. Maxx to fuel our need for spooky goods.

The first thing on my agenda was costumes. I saw a killer selection of kids and tots costumes. (I die for the baby cupcake one!) However they didn’t work for my tween, so I headed to their pet section and luckily, they had an even more adorable dog selection! I mean, Triceratops, ballerinas, and biker mutts – what’s not to love??

I chose a Top Dog costume ($10) for Bolt, which you can tell was the right choice by his Cruise “Maverick” smolder he’s giving me.

For decorations, I decided to go a bit more sinister and picked up black and white candles, a black with silver trim pumpkin, and a tier of skulls which I placed in a hurricane for an eerie mix of modern and morbid, perfect for displaying on a mantle or table-scape.

So, there you have it, our newest additions to our All Hallows Eve décor and under $50!! You can't beat that! Are you ghouls ready for Halloween yet?
