Remember when you couldn’t WAIT till Friday rolled around so you can go hit the town? You’d spend hours getting dressed and picking the perfect outfit. You’d meet up with your friends and go gallivanting until the wee hours. Cut to present. My night consists of staying in, ordering take-out, and having game night with the family. Friday nights take on a whole new meaning when you’re a mom. And yet I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Family game night is one of life’s simplest pleasures and yet it creates so many memories for all of us. It’s a small bonding experience that leaves a big impression. Even for the little ones. I still remember sitting around with my 3 brothers playing board games all night until our eyelids shut.
Family time doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. It should just be memorable. So to create the ultimate game night experience, I like to lay out a selection of snacks and drinks in cute containers to up the fun factor. T.J. Maxx is always great for finding things like that, because they always have a wide variety of colorful housewares to choose from. Like these adorable chalkboard mason jars, and mini snack dishes! Or the lime green container perfect for a bowl of popcorn. They’re so affordable and help me “maxx” out motherhood and make it way more fun!
T.J.Maxx would also like to help you “Maxx Out Motherhood” by offering one of my readers a $50 T.J. Maxx gift card! Woot! Woot! To enter simply follow the instructions on the rafflecopter widget below. Good luck! (Open to U.S. Residents only)
