Top 4 Brush Sets For A Girl On A Budget

I consider myself a loyalist on certain things, but make-up and beauty products are not one of them. I like to play the field and use different brands. So it’s surprising to me that it’s taken me this long to venture out and try some new makeup brushes. To be honest, there’s nothing wrong with the ones I currently have. In fact, I’ve mentioned in a previous post how much I love them. But I am a beauty blogger, so I wanted to see what else is out there that is just as good and maybe a little more affordable. In my search I came across four brands that stacked up high against the rest and that are perfect for a girl on a budget.

**Note: These are in NO particular order and are not ranked by number.**

1. 10 Piece Premium Synthetic Kabuki Makeup Brush Set sold by Amazon - $12.09 (  Find it here)
Pros: Nice quality. Soft bristles. No shedding. Makeup glides on smoothly.
Cons: Slight smell. (*Some people complain of handles detaching, but I have not experienced that)

2. Real Techniques Core Collection Set - $13.49 (  Find it here)
Pros: Good starter kit. Firm but not harsh. Picks up makeup well.
Cons: Small kit. Wasn’t a huge fan of the foundation brush.

3. 10 Piece SHANY Ombre Pro Essential Brush Set - $19.95 (  Find it here)
Pros: Bristles are soft and dense. No shedding. Comes in case. Includes brush sheet.
Cons: Slight smell. Brushes are on the smaller side.

4. 12 Piece Coastal Scents Brush Set - $17.46 (  Find it here)
Pros: Bigger set. Feels high-quality. Comes with case.
Cons: Slight shedding. Case and brushes have slight smell but goes away

Wait! Before you go...
