Movie Night In: Night At the Museum Secret Of The Tomb Review

Last night my family and I had a movie-night in. I always love when we get together and watch a fun family flicks. Especially when it’s a movie we all want to see like, Night At The Museum Secret of the Tomb. I was such big fan of the original since it made a big impact on my daughter’s love of the American Museum of Natural History. And thanks to Allied Hispanic, we got to see the new movie the day it was released on DVD, and also enjoy it with some popcorn and goodies! Yum.

This film marks the third installment of the Night at the Museum series. This time around, Larry (Ben Stiller) and his gang of historical friends head to London after they discover that the magic that brings them to life is beginning to fade.

What I really liked about this movie was that they kept a lot of the familiar faces and characters we’ve grown to love and also added a few new fun elements to make it feel fresh. Including Rebel Wilson who I think is hysterical! I also enjoyed Stiller’s performance as Laaa the Neanderthal. While my daughter and husband seemed to enjoy the mischievous Dexter the monkey, and mythical Garuda creature. It was also heartwarming to see the recently departed Robin Williams on the screen as well. His portrayal of President Teddy Roosevelt will always make my heart smile. I think the movie also had a very fitting ending that is sure to stir up emotions for all viewers. Overall, we liked it!
