My Go-To Breakfast Pairings

When you have a school-aged child, most mornings are a mad dash to get out the door. There’s always a shoe missing, or a mini meltdown waiting to happen. But that doesn’t mean I believe in skipping out on a meal. I believe in the old adage that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and it’s the fuel you need to carry you right through the hectic morning, so you need to make sure to do it right.

Most of my family prefers a hearty breakfast. But when it comes to my morning meal I’m a very simple girl. I don’t need a platter of bacon and eggs to jump-start my day. Instead, I like to kick-off my mornings with simple pairing of fruit, oatmeal, (an occasional croissant), and a cup of coffee. Always coffee. Because I believe that every good morning should start with a good cup of Joe too.

I make no apologies for my fondness for coffee, or Starbucks for that matter. So it’s no surprise that whenever I feel like adding a little more zest to my mornings I opt for flavored coffee. Preferably Starbucks® Mocha K-Cup® Packs. This little cup of goodness is packed with luscious chocolaty flavor and just brightens up my day. Especially on those chilly fall mornings, when there’s nothing better than a warm cup of coffee in your hands. It’s like a hug in a mug. Mmmmm…..
