The brunette beauty best known for her eyebrows and controversial Calvin Klein ads can now add makeup creator to her resume. Following in the footsteps of Diana Ross and Raquel Welch, Brooke Shields has become the latest participant in a MAC Cosmetics Icon collection, a series of collaborations with the beauty industry’s most iconic women.
The MAC x Brooke Shields Collection is a 15-piece collection priced between $17 and $85, and features a sizable eyeshadow palette with 16 shades in a variety of finishes. (It’s the largest celebrity palette MAC has done so far.) And to take things a step further – Shields created the collection with two cosmetic concepts: a fresh daytime look, and vampire night-time look, for more versatility.
I don’t know about you, but I’m really excited about this collection. Its sounds like she really did her homework and went all-out with the concepts and color selections. Including stepping out of the box with the unconventional packaging. But more importantly I think the range in shades will be a huge draw for women.
The MAC x Brooke Shields Collection will be available October 2 in U.S. stores and internationally at a later date.
