OOTD: Military Chic

This past weekend Jason and I celebrated 8 years of marriage. I know! I can't believe it's been 8 years already!!! Where did the time go?? It feels just like yesterday we were newlyweds - and now we're just an old married couple. :)

To celebrate, Jason and I hit up Gasho, a Hibachi Restaurant by the Woodbury Commons everyone keeps talks about. The atmosphere is amazing. It looks just like a Japanese village, surrounded with structures, ponds, and koi fish and all. But the food is a little lacking. I mean, I've had better hibachi AT THE MALL for goodness sake! Needless to say we won't be going back anytime soon, but it was our anniversary so we had a good time anyway.

I wore my new City Chic zip dress for the occasion. (It's actually a tunic, but I'm vertically challenged so it fits like a dress on me. HA!) I was going back and forth on whether I should keep it or return it, but I'm glad I kept it. I paired it with a few other accessories and called it a day!

How was your weekend?

  7. Happy anniversary! The same thing happens to me all the time, sometimes I have to insist to people that it really is a dress.
