Top Spring Trends & How to Wear Them. {#TargetStyle}

Over the last few weeks I’ve been going over the hottest spring trends for 2013, so I know you are well-versed on what’s in and what’s out this season. In case you missed my other posts some of these trends include: florals, stripes, dip-dye, polka dots, sheer, lace and pastels.

All this information is great to have, but I know what you mostly care about is how to incorporate these patterns and styles into your own wardrobe without looking like a fashion victim. So with that in mind, here are some tips on making these trends work for you.

1. Dress your age. With fun trends like dip-dye and neon it’s easy to get carried away, but remember what might have looked awesome on you in the 80’s may not be the case now.

2. Dress for you. Just because there is a must-have trend doesn’t mean that you should have to forgo your own sense of style. Polka dots are big this season, but if you’re not a fan - skip it and choose a trend that works for you.

3. Don’t over-do it. Too much of a good thing can be bad. Very, very bad. Choose a trend, then style it with other styles that compliment it.

 Here’s to a fashionably stylish spring!

  1. I may have gone overboard with my polka dots this year. I just love them so much! Cute outfits!

Thanks for leaving me a comment! I always make time to read each and every one. ♥
