Date Night To The Rescue.

Last week was a tough one for my family. We unfortunately received some bad news that caused a lot of stress to my side of the family. Luckily, I have an amazing husband who is here to pick me up when times get tough and be my support system when I need it most.

To de-stress a bit, he took me to one of our favorite spots in the city, Havanna Central, for a much needed date night. I had been dying to wear the Kelsey wrap dress I received from IGIGI last week and took the opportunity to wear it out.

dress: c/o IGIGI | clutch:  new york & company (old) | bracelet: stella & dot (similar) | nails: essie (cocktail bling)

I love the contrast of colors on this dress. It's a breathable jersey material which makes it very comfy to wear and has nice subtle details like the keyhole in the bodice. Plus the rich tones makes it appropriate to transition from summer to fall. I absolutely loved it.

As far as the date night is concerned, it was exactly what I needed to lift my spirits and re-energize me for the week. Happy Monday!

I love the sash. Like you stated it adds just the right amount of punch to the navy. I just love jersey. I love the way it feels and how it drapes the body. You look great!

Yay for date night. We haven't had one in like forever!
