BBW's: Just When I Thought I Was Out, They Pull Me Back In.......
After my last incident with Bath and Body Works I decided I was going to give them the silent treatment for a while....but damnit, they did it to me again!! Just when I thought I was mad at them, they lure me in with their tantalizing Fall fragrances: (Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin, Warm Harvest, Apple, Cozy Autumn Vanilla)
Damn you Bath and Body Works, Damn you.....

A. Bird Baby Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. {Does It Come In Mommy Sizes Too??}
A.Bird is a fairly new brand to me, but I've seen a lot of children's specialty boutiques carry them. It's no wonder too--one look at their fall/winter collection and I'm hooked!
This edgy fall collection has a Tim Burton meets Equestrian Chic feel that I'm totally in obsessed with! I'm especially dying over their outwear that is oh, so chic, it might start making you jealous.

J.Lo vs. Marc Anthony: Who Has The Better Kohl's Commercial?
Some of you may remember awhile back I posted about Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's working with Kohl's on an affordable collection of apparel, accessories, and decor. Even though they're two separate collections, they made an industry first by simultaneously designing a collection for one retailer.
Now that the couple is splitsville, you gotta wonder if there's some time of rivalry to see which collection will do better? Kohl's just released two videos promoting their collections coming out in September, which leads me to ask--Who's commercial do you like better, J.LO or Marc's?

Seeing Spots.
There's no doubt that polka dots are THE trend for fall. It was all over the Fall 2011 runway from Lanvin to Gucci to Marc Jacobs and Diane von Furstenburg, and you know that if all these fabulous designers have the same print on the runway it definitely the "it" trend this season.
The good thing is that if you're not a big polka dot fan you don't have to dress up from head to toe in spots--just choose a small accessory like a scarf or clutch to keep on trend and do your own spin on it.
Beauty Tip Of The Day: DIY Lemon Olive Oil Mask For Clearer Skin.
I don't know why my skin keeps thinking I'm an annoying teeny bopper, because I've been breaking out like crazy! Okay, Okay...just because I've "subconsciously" hummed along to a couple of Justin Bieber songs does not make 15 again, so what's the deal?
I think it might be stress-related, either way I found this DIY lemon olive oil mask to clear up your skin and decide to pass it along to you lovelies! I love doing home-made facials. Not only does it save you time and money, but it's a quick and easy way to pamper and nourish your face!
Here's a little info on olive oil & lemon and what it does:

The Crying Game.
As some of you may know my daughter started Kindergarten this week, and boy has it been a mission already! She has been crying every single day I've gone to pick her up! It's unbelievable! You would have thought placing her in Pre-K last year would have helped her separation anxiety, but I guess that's not the case. Last year she only cried one day mind you, and then she was fine. This time she has cried every afternoon from what the teachers have told me.

My Bone To Pick With Bath and Body Works.
Remember a few months ago I was raving about a BBW fragrance I was obsessed with and that I feared BBW might ruin my life and discontinue it? Welp, they did--and they suck for it. Before I left for NYC my Butterfly Flower body lotion ran out and I was hoping to replace it during my trip, but no such luck. When I asked the sales associate about it, she confirmed it my worst fear--it had been discontinued. Then to throw salt in the wound, she told me that they had it for $2 in their semi-annual sale just to get rid of it!!
Bastards.

CVS Launches Nuance by Salma Hayek. (A Beauty & Cosmetics Line.)
Well this is interesting, starting today you'll be able to buy Salma Hayek's new Nuance line at all CVS drugstores and at CVS.com. But wait, before you start rolling your eyes--this is a 100+ product line featuring skincare, haircare, body and cosmetics that were all inspired by Hayek's grandmother, who was a cosmetologist.Nuance combines the tradition of home-made beauty treatments in modern formulations. Some of the products include ingredients such as tepezcohuite (from Brazil), blue agave, and a lime enzyme that are making their debuts on the mass market.
"I wanted to create a line of premium beauty products that were both effective and affordable using the ingredients and knowledge passed down to me from my grandmother" --Salma Hayek
I think that the packaging is quite appealing, and if the packaging doesn't do it for you--maybe the price point will--The collection is priced from $2.99 to $19.99!
hmmm..I think I might just have to pick a few products up on my next CVS run--what do you think?

Vera Wang's New Fragrance Has Me Lovestruck.
Vera Wang launched a new fragranced called Lovestuck a few months ago and the packaging totally caught my attention and has me very eager to try it!
This fragrance is Vera's interpretation of love, playing off of a modern twist on Romeo and Juliet and the motion and rush you feel when you are falling in love--that heart pounding, spontaneous feeling.
This sparkling floral contains top notes of pink guava and mandarin with middle notes of tuberose and lotus blossom with base notes of sheer musk and precious woods.
Available at fine retailers.

Have you tried it? What do you think of the bottle?

Kardashian Kollection For Sears. (It Sucks.)
For weeks now I've been hearing that people are excited about the new Kardashian Kollection for Sears so I was curious to see what their collection would look like. Welp, I finally saw it....and it sucks.

It's filled with generic mall clothes with a hint of cheesiness and a side of cheap. No Bueno. Just stick to nail polishes ladies.

At least Sears is excited about it! In fact their so pumped about the collection they're having a Pre-Sale before the collection even hits the floors! (Maybe to get rid of it fast--that's what I would do.)
From now to August 10th all pre-sale items will be 30% off. Go to www.sears.com to find out more.
