Winnie The Pooh Coming To The Big Screen Soon! {July 15th}

Yesterday I was supposed to attend a screening to see the new Disney Winnie the Pooh movie, but unfortunately my little munchkin wasn't feeling well. :(

We've all been battling a little somethin' these past few days and I felt like it was more important to keep her home and make sure she feels better. I'm glad I hadn't told her (since it was going to be a surprise.) She would have been super bummed. After all, it is Winnie the Pooh--and who doesn't love Winne the Pooh?? I know I've been a loyal fan since childhood, like I'm sure many of you out there are.

Don't worry. The good news is that we won't have to wait much longer. Winnie the Pooh hits the big screen this Friday, July 15th!
Walt Disney Animation Studios returns to the Hundred Acre Wood with “Winnie the Pooh,” the first big-screen Pooh adventure from Disney animation in more than 35 years. With the timeless charm, wit and whimsy of the original featurettes, this all-new movie reunites audiences with the philosophical “bear of very little brain” and friends Tigger, Rabbit, Piglet, Owl, Kanga, Roo—and last, but certainly not least, Eeyore, who has lost his tail. “Ever have one of those days where you just can’t win, Eeyore?” asks Pooh. Owl sends the whole gang on a wild quest to save Christopher Robin from an imaginary culprit. It turns out to be a very busy day for a bear who simply set out to find some honey. Inspired by three stories from A.A. Milne’s books in Disney’s classic, hand-drawn art style, “Winnie the Pooh” hits theaters in Europe and Latin America in Spring 2011; the U.S. release date is July 15, 2011

I can't wait!

And hopefully my daughter will be feeling better soon. :(

Anyone else going to see it?

  1. I already have a date night planned with my boys! Daddy got to take them to Cars 2 so this is my turn! As you said, who doesn't love Winnie the Pooh!

  2. I love Winnie the Pooh!!! I just don't won't to be the only adult with no kids in the theater. LOL =P

  3. Sarah: Love date nights! Have fun!

    Amy: Don't worry, I have a feeling you won't be the only one. ;)

  4. If it's going to be shown here in Manila, I'll surely watch it with my toddler :) Her first movie was Kung Fu Panda 2 and she loved it.

Thanks for leaving me a comment! I always make time to read each and every one. ♥
