Don't Be A Plain Jane.
I know us mom's sometimes are so busy getting everyone else ready that we're lucky if we get to brush our own teeth and take a glance at the mirror before we heading out the door. However, taking those few extra seconds to get ready and layer on a few pieces can totally transform your Plain Jane look.

Beauty Tip Of The Day: Lipstick, A Multi-Purpose Tool.

Makeup artist Dick Page says: If time is of the essence, "cheeks and lips are the easiest things to do. A cheek and lip can be the same color, so you can use the same product, like a lipstick . Just pat it into the cheek and apply it straight to the lip."

Chic Maternity Wear. {Rosie Pope & Mountain Mama}
There must be something in the water because everyone and their mother is pregnant right now! I don't know what it is, but for you mommies-to-be, I decided to venture out in search of cute and stylish maternity wear.
...And guess what?...
...And guess what?...
I found 2 fantastic options for you!!
First up, Mountain Mama--definitely for the girl who liiives outdoors or for your more casual days. They have some great selections, including this AWESOME fleece wrap jacket that looks so comfy and stylish--who would ever want to take it off?

Not only does Mountain Mama have comfy, practical, clothes but they're engineered for active performance. Plus have a unique maternity cut that eliminates updraft, unflattering draping and peek-a-boo belly. Their fabric is a super-stretch material that keeps it's shape so it looks great during pregnancy--and after!
Rosie Pope Maternity is more for the girl who doesn't let pregnancy slow down her social calender. They have an amazing variety of super chic clothing for any day or event. Including these STUNNING coats, trendy tops, and classic pieces. They even offer their own line of Couture designs and accessory items such as a diaper clutch--Gotta love it!
Maternity or not--I want this Chunky Cardigan!! I mean, who would know, right?? LOL

Trendy Laptop Cases & Sleeves.
Let's be honest ladies, in this day in age, who doesn't live without their laptop? If my fingers aren't tapping away @ the keyboard, they're thumbing through my Blackberry--I know, it's a sickness. (I'll get help......eventually.)
Looking to replace that drab laptop case you schlep around?
Here are some cute picks!:

The Perfect Cozy Sweater.
You know that favorite sweater you have? The one you wear all through the fall. The one you live, eat, and sleep in, and only take off if it has a big stain on it, and even then pretend like you don't see it (wait, is that just me?)
It's the perfect cozy sweater. A must-have item for the fall. It could be made out of wool, cashmere, cotton, or jersey, but whenever you put it on it feels like heaven wrapped in a warm soft blanket.....
Here are some great finds!

A Fall Fun Weekend.
After a little park fun we FINALLY got around to carving Arianna's pumpkin. We were all under the impression that we were going to have a scary pumpkin this year (my hubby was super psyched) but of course last minute she said she wanted a "happy pumpkin" instead (hubby was super bummed) lol.
My baby wanted a happy pumpkin, I made her a happy pumpkin! :)
What did you do with your kids this weekend?

Bluefly Closet Confessions {Kelly Osbourne & Andy Cohen}
Bluefly.com has posted 2 more Closet Confessions since that last time I showed you Bethenny Frankel's. Have you seen them?
They feature Kelly Osbourne who's unique sense of style matches her quirky little knick knacks around her house (she has a flying rat from the ceiling..just wait, you'll see). I was surprised however, to see how many classic 1960/70's vintage pieces she has, such as her GORGEOUS 1960's Yves Saint Laurent fur trimmed coat, and her 1970's Giorgio Armani sun hat--which she said made her feel like Barbie.
"Andy Cohen's got da 411..." Yes, the man that has forever changed my DVR settings to include every housewives show and every other blood sucking reality show on Bravo.
I gotta say, I was a little shocked to see how messy his closet is. It's definitely a big contrast to the sharply tailored suits and nicely pressed button down shirts he often wears for TV, that's for sure. In his closet he showcases what he calls his "t-shirt scrapbook" or rather his countless vintage t-shirts including a 1986 Grateful Dead shirt, a B52's t-shirt circa 1985, and a hilarious Clinton/Gore shirt. As far as his decor aesthetic goes...well, he's definitely what you would call a "pack rat".

Scarlett Johansson's Hair. Yay or Nay?
Scarlett debuted her new, even shorter, hair do' at the Mango Fashion Awards. What do you think of her new edgy A-line bob? Is it a Yay or Nay?I'm a little on the fence about this. I'm sorta diggin' it but I'm not really sold on it, and I definitely like the back better than the front...maybe it was they way it was styled, who knows. Yay/Nay for me.

I've Seen Some Cuteness In My Day....{Gymboree Cozy Style Collection}
But this, needs an award of some kind...
AHHHHH!!!It's so CUUUTE!! I can't stand it!!!!!! lol
I gotta say, either Gymboree has stepped up it's game recently or my taste has changed (very unlikely) but it wasn't till 2 years ago I actually started really liking their clothes. When I went to New York a few weeks back, I purchased an embarrassing amount of Gymboree clothes for my daughter, and it looks like I might be making another round for the holidays, but hey--now that she's in school, I actually have a reason to buy her so much clothes, right?! (At least that's what I tell the hubby) :)
