Rachel vs. Brad

Holy Cannoli ladies, MA-JOR Rachel Zoe news. As of October 1st Brad Goreski will be leaving Rachel Zoe Inc. According to reports the split was amicable, he wants to "spread his wings and soar" in the fashion industry and make it on his own. it just me or am I the only one thinking he was using Rachel all this time? Sure they got along, what gay man wouldn't with a stylist superstar? But we all know from the show he wasn't the hardest worker and when Taylor was around he was treated like the red headed step child, so now that he was made fashion director of Rachel Zoe Inc he just gets up and leaves??

Call me cynical but I think that was just plenty of time to get Rachel's contacts and run for the door. Not to mention that the show gave him a platform for what he thinks will be a long career as a stylist.

What do you think? Was Brad for real or was he just looking to get fame?

All I know is that I'm not the only one who thinks this story is bananas. Check out what some people are saying on why he REALLY left here.

Crew Cuts Fall Frenzy Picks.

You will not BELIEVE how flippin' adorable the fall frenzy collection for Crew Cuts is!!

The girls collection has delicate bow details with blush and heather gray palettes. The boys collection has a sharper, more rugged feel with a dark, muted colors. I fell in love with just about everything but here some of my favorite picks.

Luxe Robe Cardigan-$108.00 (Can I have this in my size please?!)
Zipper Mini-$39.50

Canvas High-Tops-$89.50
Caribou Boots-$100.00 (LOVE THESE!!)

So, what did you think of their fall collection??
Crew Cuts is of course a bit pricier than most children's retailers but the quality is amazing.

Legend of the Guardians.

Over the weekend, I took my daughter husband to see the new movie, Legend of the Guardians: The owls of Ga'Hoole. It was suppose to be for Arianna, but I think Jason was more excited to see it then anyone. Haha.

The movie itself was good. It's action packed for a kids film and the graphics were amazing! It's about a brave young owl named Soren and his quest to save all owlkind from the evil owls known as "The Pure Ones". They had a 3D version but we opted out of it because all 3 of us can't stand having those glasses on for that long.

I think the movie is geared a little more towards boys but if your daughters like action sequences, like mine, they'll like it too. (I only saw one other girl in the theater besides my daughter, the rest were all boys)

Overall, we all enjoyed the film. It had a good story line and it looks like they set up the ending for a part II which my daughter husband will definitely want to see! Haha.

Kourtney {hearts} H&M.

Every day women like you and me are not the only ones who like a good bargain. Celeb mom, Kourtney Kardashian, loves to mix high and low fashions and her favorite low brand being none other than mega retailer H&M.

Here's the breakdown of her looks by Kourtney herself!

"I’m wearing an H&M dress, vintage Chanel clutch and Christian Louboutin pumps."

"I’m wearing H+M top, H+M shorts, a vintage belt, Bottega Venetta flats, Balenciaga sunglasses, clutch and diaper bag."

"I’m wearing H+M skirt and top. Christian Louboutin shoes and Balenciaga bag."

"I am wearing an H&M sweater, Myne skirt, vintage Hermes belt, leopard Fendi platforms, Chanel purse and vintage cross earrings that used to be my mom’s"

Do you like shopping at H&M too?? What was your latest buy? Mine was a wrap sweater for $20 bucks! Gotta love H&M. :)

'You Again' Cast Premiere Looks. Yay or Nay?

The ladies of the new movie "You Again" strutted their stuff on the red carpet this past week. Sigourney Weaver and Jamie Lee Curtis played off their frenemies role but hitting the red carpet in the same turquoise David Meister dress!

Although I think both of these ladies are working this dress, I have to give it to Jamie Lee Curtis because at her age she is still KILLING IT!! WOW. She looks amazing! Yay to both.

Kristen Bell showed up on the red carpet with a yellow Valentino dress. I love the dress but I'm not crazy about how she styled her hair or her use of accessories. She only gets a modest Yay from me.

Odette Yustman, I don't know who you are, but you looked AH-MAZING in this mustard J. Mendel resort gown! You get my vote for best dressed at the event. By far my favorite look of the night. A big YAY from me!

What do you think of the leading ladies looks? Which one was your favorite??

Cool Product Picks! {For Men and Women}

Remington Shine Therapy Flat Iron

A few weeks ago my expensive CHI flat iron broke (again) and I was fed up with it so I ventured out to find a new one. I was going to go to a beauty supply store but decided to make a pit stop at Kohl's and I spotted this little sucker on sale! It was originally $49.99 but on sale for $20 something so I made an impulse buy and bought it. I rushed home to research it and was so happy with the reviews so I went ahead and tried it.

I loooooved how it left my hair! I couldn't believe that a $50 $20 flat iron worked BETTER than my expensive CHI!? HUH, WHAT??!

Well, first the plates are infused WITH avocado oil and vitamin E and when it's heated it emits the oils into your hair which supposedly will last up to 4 years!! How awesome is that?! The flat iron left my hair completely smooth and frizz free, even in this Florida heat and humidity.

While the benefits of the oils are awesome there IS a down side which is that it gives off a slight odor. Not too horrible, but it does take some time to get use to.

The design is also pretty cool too with it's baby blue color, smooth buttons, and digital reader which beeps and tells you when the temperature you want is reached.

One important thing to keep in mind when using this flat iron is that it works best when you LOCK the buttons. I read in some reviews that it was poorly designed because your hands keep accidentally changing the temp. If you simply hold down the +temp button for 2 secs (which is says on the manual) it will lock it in place and not change until you hold it down for a few seconds again.

Overall, I think this is a GREAT flat iron and even though I know not every flat iron works for everybody, if you're looking for a new flat iron I would DEFINITELY try it out--it's worth it.

Gillette Fusion ProSeries Thermal Face Scrub

I bought this for my husband because he LOVES the Gillette Fusion series. He has reeeally sensitive skin and the Gillette razors and products are the only ones that don't damage his skin (even the expensive electric razors and trimmers irritate his skin, it's bad).

So, at first he didn't like it. The directions say to rub on skin and then rinse off and shave. Which he did, but it felt rough shaving and even felt like it was tugging on his skin.

He didn't use it for several days because of it, but then decided to try it out in the shower and I don't know if it's the steam from the shower or if it's that he does a better job of rinsing off the scrub in the shower but it worked SO MUCH BETTER.

The thermal scrub is suppose to heat on contact and soften the skin with granules for a closer shave and that's exactly what it did. His skin and hair felt baby soft which in turn made shaving easier and the razor glide right off his skin.

He LOVES this product now and uses it every time he shaves.

Oscar Rocks My World. {Spring 2011 Collection}

If you're a fashion psycho like I me, you've probably been scouring the internet to see the latest collections from the Spring 2011 New York Fashion Week too.

I've gone through quite a few collections and none of them took my breath away like the Oscar De La Renta Spring Collection did. If there is one man that knows how to dress a woman and make her feel like a million bucks it would be Oscar. I mean seriously, I D-I-E.

Take a look yourself.....

Go to to see the entire Spring 2011 collection

What do you think of his collection??
