Blake Lively Outfit. Yay or Nay?
Wow, I'm getting a serious case of 80's flashback here. Blake Lively wore a scooped neck top and black satin harem pants both by Preen at the Comic Con Conference. What do you think? Is it a Yay or Nay?I get that she was trying something different and was trying to have fun with fashion but I think she (and her stylist) failed miserably. Not too mention I think it ages her a good 20 years. NAY.

Shoe Fetish Of The Week
This week ladies your Shoe Fetish of the Week are the Yves Saint Laurent, Tribute Maryjane. Aren't they FABULOUS?! Just in time to gear you up for all the up coming fall fashions everywere. These bad boys are a mix of suede and leather, have an adjustable ankle strap, and run for a mere $895.00 at Barneys. :)What do you think, Love 'em, Hate 'em, Let me know!
First Time Back to School Shopper.
I can't believe it, but I went school shopping for my daughter yesterday! Ugh. I just can't wrap my head around the whole idea that my baby is big enough to go to school now!! She'll be entering Pre-K in August and we're going overboard buying everything, but a scientific calculator. I seriously doubt she'll use everything but hey, what do you expect--we're new at this!The day started off we me taking Arianna to story time and then Jason surprised us and joined us for lunch and after, we were off to do some damage at Osh Kosh and Gapkids. I can't believe the INSANE amount of money I spent. The good news is that practically everything was on sale, so I did save, right?! (At least that's the excuse I told the hubby, hehe). The bad news is that I'm not done yet! I still need to buy her a few more things, especially some new shoes which I think I'll be doing at sketchers (they got some cute sneakers I've been eyeing). I already bought her backpack at Target--Disney Princess, of course, which was surprisingly cuter than the one at the Disney Store, go figure. I just can't believe all of this is just for Pre-K! I don't even want to THINK how it's going to be like for high school! I think I've already single handedly put Gap, Osh Kosh, and Target in the black this year...

Prairie Essence was kind enough to send me their Lavender Fields Lotion and Artisan Soap and their Lemon Sorbet Lip Balm to test out and let me tell you--before I even saw the box, I could smell it a mile away! In fact, when I open my mailbox I knew it must be something good because I could smell it right through the packaging! When I opened it up, the room was filled with a wonderful smell of lavender that captivated everyone in the house.
The lotion was rich and soft, the soap left my skin completely smooth and aromatic and the lip balm was moisturizing and smelled delicious! There wasn't one thing I didn't like about their products and based on their growing success, I'm not the only who thinks so. Prairie Essence was recently selected and featured in the Celebrity Earth Day 2010 Gift Baskets. UGG Australia Debuts Cozy Knit Line.
Love 'em or Hate 'em come August 10th Ugg Australia is debuting a line of cashmere and wool knits! There's no doubt that they look warm and cozy, perfect for this coming fall. Even if you're not a fan of their boots these knits might change your mind about the brand.Here's a few pics from the their collection...
There's nothing really new or spectacular about them, but they're a classic silhouette that you can wear year after year. My favorites being the white cable sweater ($295) and the brown belted hooded cardigan.
