Me, According To My Daughter.

Yesterday, I read this post on questions a mom had asked her daughter about herself, titled "Me, According to my daughter." One mommy blogger got it from another, who got it from another, so I'm not exactly sure who started it, but I thought it was so cute and knew I wanted to try it out on my daughter. So here are her answers....

Keep in mind, Arianna is 5.

What is something I always say to you? I love you.
What makes me happy? When I say I love you.
What makes me sad? When you're hurt.
How do I make you laugh? When you make funny faces.
What do you think I was like as a child? You were 4
How old am I? ugh, 10?
How tall am I? I don't know--big.
What is my favorite thing to do? Be on the computer.
What do I do when you’re not around? Sit around.
What am I really good at? With computers.
What am I not really good at? Being bad.
What is my job? To cook.
What is my favorite food? Pasta.
What makes you proud of me? When you hug me.
What makes me proud of you? When I'm good at school.

"sigh, I'm getting really hungry answering these questions..."

If I were a cartoon character, who would I be? Sleeping Beauty
What do you and I do together? Play together with my toys and barbies. We color together too!
How are we the same? We're BIG girls and we have long hair and brown eyes.
How are you and I different? The way we dance.
How do you know that I love you? Because you love me so much.
Where is my favorite place to go? Home.
What would I do with a million dollars? Keep it and go places. (<--Smart girl)
What do I help you with? Opening stuff.

What do you help me with? Cleaning.

This is a cute little exercise for you to try with your little ones. If you end up posting it be sure to leave me a comment with a link. I would love to read them! :)

  2. So cute! Love her answers. =)

  3. I love this and I just finished asking my daughter these questions as well. It's so cute to see what their answers will be. Thanks for posting this.

  4. I had so much fun reading your daughter's responses! It is so touching because she gets right to what's most important in life in so few words - loving your family, learning and always taking care of each other. Thank you for sharing!

  5. Thank you for posting it! It's amazing and I am totally going to interview my son and post his answers when my site is back on. What a smart girl! Her answers are full of the surprising wisdom and the insights. The recent depiction of me, courtesy my little Da Vinci, bears tortured screaming expression on my face as I am fighting off a nasty alien attacking my son:) Thank you once again! Great post!

  6. This is such a cute post idea! Too bad my daughter doesn't even talk a few years I guess!!

  7. Thanks ladies, she is such a sweetheart. You should all try and let me know. I would love to read what your little ones had to say. :)

  8. I came across your blog from the December blog hop at Mommy Bloggers. I remember doing this awhile ago on Facebook, so I revisited the exercise and posted it to my blog. You can read it here:

Thanks for reminding me how fun this is...not to mention it will be cute to look at when they are teens!!

  9. I am so in love with this! I found you through a Bloggy Mom and a blog hop. I am going to ask my daughter this but I have to see what my son thinks too!

Thanks for leaving me a comment! I always make time to read each and every one. ♥
