Make-Up Haul. {Laura Mercier & E.L.F.}

I recently went to my local Ulta and picked up a few things that I really like and thought I'd share with you!

Now, I've never purchased any Laura Mercier products before, but I've heard a lot about them so I went ahead and bought:

Full Blown Volume Mascara--I gotta be honest and say at first, I was slightly disappointed with it. Because of the name, I thought I was going to get thick, dramatic lashes, but the more I've used it, the more I've liked it. It has a very natural look, but it does a great job of lengthening my lashes and no matter how many layers you put on (and I recommend a few layers with this mascara)--it will not clump.

Mineral Foundation Primer
--What I liked about this primer is the texture. It's very smooth and silky. It's not thick like some other primers out there. The description says that it's a liquid to powder formula--I don't know about all that, but I felt like it did a good job of making my foundation last longer and look smoother and that's all I care about.

Luster Eye Colour in Celestial--I looved this eyeshadow. I wore this when I went out with the hubby the other night and it gave me that perfect sexy smoky eye. It's very pigmented and stays on for a long time. I also just found out that it won Allure's 2010 Best of Beauty of Award for best gray eyeshadow--so definitely pick this sucker up!

E.L.F's Duo Eye Shadows in Butter Pecan and Mocha Swirl--What I like about these eyeshadows (besides the fact that they're ridiculously cheap at $1) are the gorgeous shades!! They have a ton of colors to choose from and not only that, but they're rich & creamy and glide right on! They give you that subtle, natural smoky eye, and you can even use them as a base. Although I do like them, I would definitely recommend that you put on a good eye primer on before using them, because after a while they will crease on you (even though they say it's crease-resistant)
