Well, like I mentioned before , this year we had 2 Thanksgiving dinners. One with almost all my side of the family the night before, and just us 3 for a quiet Thanksgiving night. I loved the fact that this year my daughter was so involved with everything! Thursday morning she and I got up early to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and then she helped me prepare everything from the Turkey to the stuffing! Measuring, dipping, washing, stiring--she was my perfect little helper! And as a treat, we took her to see a late night showing of Tangled after we were done stuffing our faces.
She was ECSTATIC to see the movie and it's beyond cute! If you have a girl, definitely take her to see it--she will love this new addition to the Disney Princesses! I was shocked to see how many adults their were in the theater without kids too. Everyone loves a Disney film, I guess. :)
How was your Thanksgiving?

Looks like you had a great day!
ReplyDeleteThanksgiving was wonderful, but a little sad. We were all missing my Husbands Grandmother who passed away this past spring. She was definitely there in spirit :)
I ate entirely way too much and enjoyed every minute of it!
I'm sorry to hear that Ashlee! I'm sure she was. Ugh. I don't know why we stuff our faces so much, but then again, isn't that was Thanksgiving all about?
ReplyDeleteI guess it wouldn't be Thanksgiving unless you leave the table feeling bloated, right? :)
Two?! My goodness girl. You're a rock star. Hope you're relaxing right now. Your fam is just lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Yeah--two. NEVER AGAIN. lol
