A Cold Megamind Weekend.

I literally didn't want this weekend to end--not because it's a start of a new work week, but because it was actually COLD in Florida this weekend!! *sigh* I. was. in. heaven. (To understand my need for cold weather during the holidays, you have to understand that I grew up in Chicago, where not being able to feel your feet or face the next few months is completely normal.)

Now the weekend has come and gone and so has the chilly weather. Today will be a high of 82--ugh. Kill Me Now.

It's not normal to wear cut-offs and a tank top while x-mas shopping, people!

So besides enjoying the nice weather, we took my daughter to see Megamind! It was really good, like most kids films now a days. But definitely not what I thought it was about, based on the trailer. Here's a quick synopsis of the plot:
'Megamind' is the most brilliant supervillain the world has ever known. And the least successful. Over the years, he has tried to conquer Metro City in every imaginable way. Each attempt, a colossal failure thanks to the caped superhero known as "Metro Man," an invincible hero until the day Megamind actually kills him in the throes of one of his botched evil plans. Suddenly, Megamind has no purpose. A supervillain without a superhero. He realizes that achieving his life's ambition is the worst thing that ever happened to him.
There was a lot of funny scenes and my daughter at one point turned to us and asked if we can buy her the movie when it comes out, before it even finished!--So I KNOW she liked it.

How did you spend your weekend?
