Forecast Trend: Griege Nail Color

OMG I've never wanted Fall to come faster this year! This summer heat has been u-n-b-e-a-r-a-b-l-e. I don't know about you but sticky humidity, and scorching heat is not my idea of fun.

Thankfully, Glamour Magazine has me thinking of breezy winds brewing and leaves changing because they're predicting that "Griege" (gray-biege) nails will be all the rage this fall! Like the future trend? Here are the nail colors they recommend:

Essie: Mink Muffs-$8 (www.essie.com)
Deborah Lippmann: Waking up in Vegas-$16 (www.deborahlippmann.com)
CND (top right): Desert Suede-$9 (www.cnd.com)
OPI: You Don't Know Jacques!-$9 (www.opi.com)

FYI: The nail color on hand is OPI: You Don't Know Jacques.

Will you be sporting this new trend come fall?

  1. I really like these colors but I hate chipped nail polish and since I'm always doing the dishes... these colors don't have much hope to grace my fingernails this fall...

  2. I'm loving this color but like Carrie, I usually do a very nuetral color bc I can't stand the look of chipped nails.

  3. I can't wait! I actually did during spring Sally Hansen's "Commander in Chic" Super cute gray purplish shade.

  4. I wash dishes all day long too but putting on a top coat to seal the nail color usually does the trick for me. Eventually it will chip but it lasts much longer that way.

  5. Not sure about that color, but I love OPI nail polish. I always seem to gravitate to the same old colors, buff, mauve. Maybe i will step out of my comfort zone and try something new. lol
